It's A Written Thing
I turned forty last year. I suddenly found myself at a cross roads. Do I go straight on as I had been for the past twenty or so years or do I turn left or right and make a new route on the road of life. I took a good hard look at myself and remembered my dreams and interests I had had as a child.
As early back as I can remember, I have used pencil and paper to express how I feel. Whether it's a song, a story, a poem or even drawing a picture.
If I could write about it I would. If I could sing about it I did. These amazing gifts that I had been given kept me company through my childhood years and stayed by my side until the less creative things took their place. Work and a family were my new inspirations and so for many years the writing and the drawing sort of got forgotten. Where as before I was sharing my emotions through print, with my family I was sharing it through gestures and words. Now the time has come to get out the dusty exercise books and art pads and share my work. One day I will be a published writer inspiring anyone who needs inspiration and sharing my love for writing with everyone. Please use the links above to see more about me. Lisa x
